Sunlit Shield SPF 50

A modern-filter sunscreen with no white cast, no pilling under makeup, and SPF 50 PA++++ measured at the strength it is sold.

Malaysian sun is not European sun, and a sunscreen formulated for a temperate summer is the wrong product here. This one uses the newer photostable filters — Tinosorb S and M — which hold their protection for longer without the chalky residue of older actives.

It is a chemical filter formula precisely because mineral-only options leave a cast on deeper skin tones. Everyone should be able to wear SPF 50 without looking grey.

1. Two finger-lengths for the face and neck. Less than that and you are wearing SPF 15.
2. Apply as the last step of the morning routine, before makeup.
3. Reapply every two hours outdoors. In an office, once at lunch is enough.
